• Final Weekend To See Exhibits

Posted on October 23, 2012 by in News and Information

Don’t miss the final opportunity to see the wonderful exhibit put together for the 100 Year Celebration.  You will see beautiful black and white historic photos and displays of items used in ranching, farming, and logging in the Freight Room.  In the newly restored 1st floor of the P&IN Railway Depot you will find information about the historic P&IN Railway as well as Meadows Valley.   In the Ladies Waiting Room there are Adams County Historical Society books on sale including “Meadows Valley Barns” – a compilation of black and white photographs of historic barns in Meadows Valley along with brief biographical history of the barn and their owners; “Links To Our Past” by author Carla Barham Standley who grew up on the once famous Circle C Ranch.  “Links To Our Past” is a terrific overview of the history of Meadows Valley.  Enjoy your leisurely paced self guided tour going back in time.  Saturday hours are 1 to 4 p.m.
