• Adams County Historical Society Receives funds

We are blessed to have had a friend in Mr. William March.  As previously announced, Mr. March, a generous benefactor to the ACHS passed away in March.  Earlier in September  the ACHS received a $100,000 check from the estate of Mr. March.  Needless to say we were dumbfounded and speechless when the check arrived.  These funds will be used as match money for grants and projects so hopefully we will be able to stretch these funds enough to get the second story and work on the exterior corbels done.  The vision of getting a permanent location in the depot for the accessioning and item storage is much closer to fruition that we ever imagined could be possible.  Then on the exterior corbels and rest of second story to eventually begin the Visiting Artist program.
