• Presentation: Transportation and Trails

    Friday, September 6, 2013 at 7 p.m. in the P&IN Railway Depot Freight Room historian, author and former instruction, Carole Simon-Smolinsky will give a  presentation covering transportation and  trails that were used by early trappers and Native Americans, and will broaden understanding of the importance and development of packer trails to the mining camps of Warren and Idaho City.  The evening is hosted by the Adams County Historical Society and sponsored by Idaho Humanities Council.
