This year the Adams County Historical Society will focus on Packer John’s Cabin and it’s importance to our area and the State of Idaho. There will be speaker’s presenting information on a variety of topics through out the year in part sponsored by the Idaho Humanities Council. VOLUNTEERS NEEDED to help get this exhibit put together as well as host the open house dates throughout the summer, fall and winter. There will be two exhibit venues, one in the depot and one in the auditorium. There will be artists and craftsmen involved making a Packer John’s cabin for display. These exhibits will be especially appealing to children and students. Plan now to join the ACHS, volunteer or visit as the Adams County Historical Society prepares to celebrate Meadows Valley early history relative to Packer Joh’s Cabin and Idaho’s Sesquicentennial.
